Military courts to receive 10 terrorism cases from Sindh

KARACHI (Online) – The Sindh government on Saturday decided to send ten terrorism cases to military courts.

The provincial government has sent the cases, including the attack at Nishtar Park and the Bohri Jamat Khana, to the federal government. The decision was made on the recommendation of the apex sub-legal committee.

On Thursday, a military court awarded death sentences to seven terrorists involved in Army Public School attack and Safoora Chowrangi gun attack.

Another terrorist was awarded a lifetime imprisonment for attacking Rangers’s personnel in Karachi.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif confirmed the punishments announced by military court.
