RAHIM YAR KHAN (Online) – A 14-year youth committed suicide on Saturday by jumping in front of a moving train after he was allegedly kidnapped and molested by persons in village Jatha Bhutta in district Rahim Yar Khan.
Family members of the victim said that the youth was kidnapped by some persons a few days back and subjected him to molestation after forcing him to drink liquor. The accused threw him on a road near his home in fainted condition before fleeing.
The youth committed suicide fearing to be blackmailed by his alleged kidnappers and molesters as they had made a video clip of the sexual assault, the police quoted the family members as saying.
Meanwhile, the villagers and the family members placed the body on a road and staged a protest for two hours.
RPO Bahawalpur Ehsan Sadiq, meanwhile, has ordered for arresting the culprits. Later, the police claimed that two suspects have been taken into custody for investigation.
