LAHORE (Staff Report) – All private and public sector schools across Punjab reopened on Monday after the summer vacations ended this weekend.
Media reports suggested that a very small number of students reached schools on the very first day.
The Punjab Government had announced summer vacations of two and a half months on May 24, when provincial Education Minister Rana Mashood said that the health of the children cannot be compromised while referring to the scorching temperatures different cities of Punjab.
The government previously announced that summer vacations will start from June 1, however, the schedule was reviewed at a meeting in the last of May.
