International car rally in Waziristan this year, says Bajwa

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Director General (DG) Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa said on Wednesday that an international car rally would be held by the end of this year in the tribal area of Waziristan. 

Speaking to media, he said the rally would be held on a new road built in Waziristan, a federally administered tribal (FATA) area bordering Afghanistan.

The car rally would mark the return of temporarily displaced persons (TDP’s) to their homes after a successful two-year long (Zarb-e-Azb) military operation against terrorists in tribal areas.
