SEOUL – Samsung is set to launch its Note flagship device, Galaxy Note 9 in next few months.
A leak from Ice Universe recently suggested that the South Korean tech giant has relocated the fingerprint sensor below the camera.

The new leaked design also showed a ‘mysterious’ fourth button besides the volume rocker, Bixby launcher, and power button combo.
Now, Korean news outlet Herald reports that Samsung has recently filed a trademark for ‘perfect capture technology’.
The new physical button feature is similar to the one included on Sony’s Xperia smartphones.
The fourth button will possibly act as a shortcut to the camera via a double tap and, when open, should allow users to refocus on objects and take images. Not only this, but the report claims owners of the Galaxy Note 9 will be able to record video through this button as well.

It is also claimed that it may double as a dedicated screenshot key, allowing users to capture the screen upon pressing it.
It is still unclear if these claims are accurate but considering the brand’s focus on photography with the Galaxy S9 lineup, a dedicated shutter key may be the next natural step to enhance the photography experience, allowing it to double as a screenshot button would likely be a welcome addition from users.
