ADB to provide Rs38 billion for Swat Expressway

ISLAMABAD (APP) – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to finance construction of the Swat Expressway.

According to official sources, the 81-kilometer long expressway will connect Chakdara with Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway at the Colonel Sher Khan Interchange.

The project will be completed in two years at a cost of thirty eight billion rupees.

Construction of the expressway is expected to boost economic activity within Malakand division and Swabi district.
