ISLAMABAD (Online) – Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has formed an intelligence wing – comprising 15 to 20 members – to monitor and keep a check on the activities of party leaders.
According to reliable sources, the intelligence cell has been headed by an important figure in the party who is answerable to Imran Khan only.

The members of cell have been closely working with the party members for gathering important information and submit the report to the PTI chairman, who makes the final decision. The decision to remove Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan had also been taken in light of recommendation given by the intelligence wing.

The wing has submitted the reports regarding the local bodies’ election across the Punjab including the constituency of Fayaz ul Hasan. The wing had submitted the information regarding the lobbying of relatives, and the member working against the party’s candidate and in favour of opposite candidate during the union council elections.
The wing had also given report regarding the people working for allotting tickets to their friends.
A full-scale report used to be submitted to PTI Chairman, so that people joining the party for their agenda could be blocked. The wing also collects information about candidate’s involvement in drug dealings, criminal cases and other unwanted activities.
