KARACHI – Police have apprehended an alleged target killer of London-based Muttahida Quami Movement Saturday night during a raid in Karachi.
The policed raided Manghopir area and arrested Amir alias Kaala near the border of Sindh and Balochistan.
During interrogation, the accused has confessed to being part of the MQM-L, adding that he was also appointed as in-charge for Surjani’s Taiser Town area by the party.
The police also recovered weapons and contraband items from his possession.
Meanwhile, sixteen suspects were arrested during search operation in different parts of the country Saturday night.
The accused were arrested from Karachi, Vehari and other cities.
