Farooq Sattar dismisses conspiracy behind road accident

KARACHI (Web Desk) -MQM Pakistan chief Dr. Farooq Sattar rejected rumours regarding conspiracy behind his car accident and clarified that he had suffered a road accident.

Dr Farooq Sattar who was discharged from hospital on Wednesday arrived home and brushed off the suspicions citing the accident as a conspiracy. The MQM Pakistan chief claimed that he had suffered from an accident and that it should be treated as such.

“My accident should be considered an accident, no need to seek a conspiracy in it,” he said.

Sattar thanked God that his life and the life of his associates as well as guards had been saved in the accident. The ambitious Sattar said that after a few days he would be back to work as usual.

He claimed that his sources had informed him that MQM founder Altaf Hussain had also inquired after his health. Moreover, PM Nawaz and former President Pervez Musharraf also gave a call to the injured MQM leader.

Earlier on Sunday night, the MQM leader received severe injuries when his vehicle turned turtle while he was travelling on Super Highway from Hyderabad to Karachi.

Four others travelling along with him in the same car were also injured. Farooq and others were rushed to the Agha Khan hospital for treatment.

Sattar had suffered from injuries to the head, shoulders and back. However, medical reports revealed that he had avoided any major injuries.
