Police sets an example, recovers Rs 1.3 million of buffalo trader who died in train accident

MULTAN (Web Desk) – Railway Police recovered Rs. 1.3 million of a buffalo trader who lost his life in the Multan train accident early Thursday.

According to Express News, Gul Hassan who was heading back to Karachi after  selling the sacrificial animals had Rs. with 1.3 million but he was unfortunate as the train collision left him dead.

The railway Police after a thorough operation not only recovered the amount but also handed it over to his son.

Earlier, At least 6 people were killed and over 150 injured when Karachi-bound Awam Express collided with a freight train near Bucch railway station in Sher Shah, Multan.

According to Multan District Coordination Officer (DCO) Nadir Chattha, the incident took place when a freight train overran a man some 25km away from Multan and in the mean time Awam Express, coming from Peshawar using the same rail line, collided with the carriages of the train.

As a result of the collision, four bogies of Awam Express overturned while the engine and the power van were also left completely wrecked.
