KARACHI – The Shaban moon has not been sighted in the country, Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced on Monday.
The announcement was made by Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing the meeting of the committee.
The first of Shaban will fall on April 18 (Wednesday), he said.
The chairman said Shab-e-Bara’at, the night of fortune and forgiveness, would be observed on the night between May 1st – 2nd (Tuesday – Wednesday).
