HYDERABAD – The Controller of Examinations Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad has announced the results of Secondary School Certificate Part-II Science and General Groups Annual Examinations 2018.
According to the announcement here at a ceremony held at BISE Hyderabad Auditorium on Thursday, the female candidates while showing their dominance in Science group examinations have clinched all three top positions among 54843 passed male and female candidates.
Ume Rooman d/o Muhammad Anwar and Sonal Fatima d/o Irfan Mehmood both students of Hayat Girls Higher Secondary School Sadar Hyderabad have clinched first and second positions respectively while Muskan Fatima d/o Mushtaq Ahmed of Community Based High School Tando Muhammad Khan has secured the third position in the examinations.
A total of 65398 male and female candidates had appeared in the examinations of them 54843 have passed their all subjects while 9994 have been declared failed in different subjects. Among 54843 candidates, 2019 have been declared passed with A-I grade marks, 15878 with A grade marks, 20187 with B grade marks, 12712 with C grade marks, 2985 with D grade marks and only 27 candidates have been declared pass with E grade marks.
In General group examinations, Saba Siddiqui d/o Alamgeer Siddiqui of Government Higher Secondary School Halepota Phuleli Hyderabad has clinched the first position while Muhammad Farhan Baig s/o Muhammad Sarfraz of Excellent High School Hirabad Hyderabad and Noor Muhammad s/o Muhammad Ameen of S.M. Shah Agha Khan Government (P) Higher Secondary School Sultanabad Tando Allahyar bagged second and third positions respectively.
A total of 2272 male and female candidates appeared in the examinations of them 1708 have been successful in all subjects while 397 have been declared fail in different subjects.
None of the candidates has succeeded to obtain A-I grade marks in the examinations while 59 have been declared pass with A grade marks, 563 with B grade marks, 828 with C grade marks, 249 with D grade marks and nine candidates have obtained D grade marks in the examinations.
