Musician and mentor Abdul Rauf recently released his debut single ‘Yaad’, and we are in love (or experiencing heartbreak, depending on what you are going through) all over again.
Musician and teacher Abdul Rauf has his own music academy, Melody Seekers, where he teaches students the harmonium and singing. Apart from that, Abdul Rauf is also a music lecturer at the Kinnaird College, Lahore.
Abdul Rauf also trains students at the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore.
Speaking about the ghazal he has just released, Abdul Rauf stated, “I hope people will come out and make more ghazals, as the tradition is slowly fading. This is a tribute to all those people who sang ghazals, and this was a way to inspire my students to look forward & feel encouraged.”
