LAHORE – Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphone Redmi 5 Plus in Pakistan.
The new phone is equipped with 5.99 inches IPS LCD which gives 1080 X2160 resolution and 18:9 ratio with 2.5D curved glass on top. The Full HD display delivers crisp visuals and excellent contrast, with a pixel density of 403 PPI (Pixel per Inch) density.

Redmi 5 Plus is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 Processor and Adreno 506 GPU with 4,000 mAh non-removable battery.
The latest device comes with a 12MP f/2.2 rear camera sporting 1.25μm-pixel sensors. The larger the pixels, the lighter a sensor can capture, giving better image quality even in situations when lighting conditions are not perfect.
The front 5MP camera features Selfie-light that allows users to capture beautiful selfies even in low-light conditions. With an always-on mode, this also works when shooting videos combined with Xiaomi’s Beautify 3.0.
Out of the box, the smartphone comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9.
The Redmi 5 Plus (3GB+32GB) and Redmi 5 Plus (4GB+64GB) are available in three colours – Gold, Black, and Blue.
