HYDERABAD – At least seventeen people died and 13 others injured after a speedy trailer rammed into a bus carrying wedding-goers on National Highway near Matiari, a district in Sindh province.
As per the details, the bus carrying wedding party was parked on a roadside in Hala due to malfunction when trailer coming from the backside hit the passenger vehicle, leaving 15 dead on the spot.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where two others succumbed to their wounds taking the toll to 17. The deceased include five women and two children, while 5 members of a family also died in the road mishap.
A police official said that efforts are being made to take out three bodies, which are trapped underneath the wreck.
