Pakistan to get gas supply under TAPI project in 2019

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that TAPI gas project will substantially help to meet the energy needs of the country.

In an interview, he said the project will produce eight thousand megawatt electricity to cut short the time of loadshedding .

The Minister said first supply of gas from the project to Pakistan will start in 2019 and surplus gas will be available for industrial sector. He said that TAPI project will fulfill futuristic demand of the country.
