ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday inaugurated construction work on 62km long Gojra-Shorkot section of Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M-4.
The M-4 will upgrade country’s vital north-south road network for promotion of economic growth, job creation and regional connectivity.
It will reduce cost and time from textile producing hub Faisalabad to Multan which is a major trade centre in Southern Punjab.
The fifty-eight kilometers ‘Faisalabad-Gojra’ section of M-4 has already been completed with the assistance of Asian Development Bank and opened to traffic since March this year.
