Donald Trump Unhurt In Another Assassination Attempt In Florida

WEST PALM BEACH — Former US President Donald Trump remains unhurt in what is being described as a potential assassination attempt at his Florida residence.

Federal investigators discovered AK-47-style weapon hidden in bushes near Trump’s location and confronted the suspect. The man, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was later held after fleeing in a black Nissan.

Reports in international media said Ryan Routh is a history sheeter with records of felony convictions. The incident raised questions about the security measures for high-profile politicians and sparked political reactions from both sides.

President Biden and Vice President Harris quickly denounced political violence and emphasized the need for enhanced security. Amid the probe, FBI is treating incident at Donald Trump’s golf course as a potential assassination attempt, though the former president emerged unscathed.

This incident comes just two months after a similar attack at a rally in Pennsylvania. The attack has intensified calls for reducing inflammatory political rhetoric to curb political violence. Despite the incident, Trump’s campaign schedule remains unchanged, with upcoming events planned in Michigan, New York, and North Carolina.

Meanwhile, US Secret Service’s response is under scrutiny, following similar concerns raised after a previous incident in July this year.
