Modi issues warning to Pakistan from UAE

DUBAI (Web Desk) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday asked Islamabad to choose between terrorism and humanity. Addressing a gathering of over 40,000 people at Dubai Cricket Stadium, Modi said the time has come for decisive action against terrorism.

Indian PM’s statement tagging Pakistan with terror comes at a time ahead of the scheduled NSA-level meeting between the two nations.

This is not the first time that Modi has warned Pakistan from an international platform. During his Bangladesh visit in June 2015 Modi had blamed Islamabad for backing terror activities against India.

Referring to the joint statement signed between India and UAE during his 2-day visit, Modi said, “The intended recipients will get the message. Good Taliban, bad Taliban … good terror, bad terror … this will not work anymore. A decision has to be taken whether you with terrorism or humanity.”

Modi, who is the first Indian prime minister to visit the Arab nation in 34 years, said that both India and UAE have agreed to dismantle the terror infrastructure.

On the other hand Pakistani leadership have repeatedly said about significant proofs that India has been funding and training TTP members using a network of Indian consulates in Afghanistan along Pakistani border.

After the Peshawar school attack Pakistani Army’s official spokesman Maj.Gen Asim Bajwa said that, “India is funding Taliban in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan.”

Former United States Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel stated in a speech at Oklahoma’s Cameron University, that India has ‘for many years been using Afghanistan to fight a proxy war against Pakistan by sponsoring terror attacks inside it’.

Pakistan has also repeatedly accused India of supporting Baloch rebels, outside Pakistan, some Western observers also believe that India secretly funds the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
