CHARSADDA (Staff Report) – As the Bacha Khan Universty, Charsadda has resumed after last month’s terrorist attack, a platoon of Frontier Constabulary (FC) Wednesday took over the responsibility of safeguarding the university.
On January 20, a group of four terrorists had attacked the university and killed 21 people including a Chemistry professor and several students.
According to a statement, the FC personnel have taken over the charges of protecting the opening gates of university and a special control room has also been established to meet any unusual situation.
Meanwhile an eight-member team of Elite Force has also been deployed at BKU campus permanently.
