RAWALPINDI – In a joint action under operation Raddul Fasaad, security forces on Saturday killed three terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan, reported Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Security forces – Punjab Rangers, Elite Forces and intelligence agencies – conducted an intelligence-based operation in an area of the city. During the operation, two Rangers officials were also injured.
The security officials also recovered rocket launchers, IED devices, hand grenades and other weapons from the possession of the terrorists.
The identity of the killed terrorists is yet to be ascertained.
On Jan 28, two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan terrorists were killed in Pakistan Rangers Punjab operation near DG Khan .
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the militants were involved in kidnapping and killing of security forces personnel.

In Feb 2017, Pakistan Army launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country to root out terrorism without any discrimination.
“The operation aims at indiscriminately eliminating residual or latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring the security of Pakistan’s borders,” the ISPR statement added.
The countrywide military operation – ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’, or ‘Elimination of evils’ – has been launched days after a series of deadly militant attacks killed more than 115 people across Pakistan in just over a week, including civilians, policemen and soldiers.
