Second Lahore lynching victim, a job-seeker from Sargodha

LAHORE (Web Desk) – The second suspect, lynched and burnt by an enraged mob in reaction to Sunday’s deadly bombings at two churches in a Lahore Christian neighbourhood, has been identified as Babar Nauman, a resident of Sargodha, who came to Lahore a few days back to eke out a living. He was just 26.

“He went to Lahore in search of job at a local garments factory a few days ago,” Babar’s family members told a private television.

On Monday, the other suspect was identified as Naeem after his brother Muhammad Saleem approached officials at Nishtar Colony Police Station and told them one of the two killed by the mob, was his brother.

“Naeem worked as a glass cutter and he had nothing to do with these bombings.”

Naeem’s funeral prayer was offered Tuesday evening at his hometown in Kasur.
