LAHORE (Web Desk) – Six brothers and sisters who were burnt to death in an apartment blaze here last night, were laid to rest with tears and sobs here on Sunday, local media reported on Sunday.
12-year-old Minahil, Zain (11), Dua (8), Hanan (5), Azlaan (3) Azaan were burnt alive as flames engulfed the 2nd floor of their house.
A large number of the area people attended the funeral prayer.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the fire, which they suspect was caused by a short circuit in a building located on Sher Shah Road, engulfed the entire floor, the family was occupying, before the help could arrive.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and others condemned the sad incident.
