Ghulam Rasool Sahi quits PML-N to join PTI

ISLAMABAD – Former leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Lieutenant Colonel (r) Ghulam Rasool Sahi resigned from his National Assembly seat and joined Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday.

Media reports suggest Sahi had differences with party policies which prompted him to leave the party, that is currently battling hard to fend off criticism stemming out of former premier Nawaz Sharif's statement on Mumbai attacks.

Ghulam Rasool Sahi was elected as MNA from NA-75 in Faisalabad after bagging 1,30,300 votes in 2013 elections.
