TASHKENT (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday reached Tashkent on two-day Uzbekistan visit to hold talks on bilateral relations and regional peace and stability.
During his official visit, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with Uzbek leadership on various regional and international issues.
The Prime Minister will also hold separate meeting with the Uzbek President Islam Karimov in Tashkent.
The two countries share similar views on major regional and international issues and collaborate closely on multilateral fora including UN, OIC, ECO, and SCO.
The talks between the two sides will focus on enhancing cooperation in different fields, including energy, trade, culture, regional connectivity, tourism and people-to-people contacts.
