ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has held a meeting with Pakistan Army officials and Finance Division’s budget teams to review the expenses incurred on the Operation Zarb e Azb till date.
According to statement, in-depth deliberations were also held on proposals presented by the Pakistan Army for the budget 2016-17.
The Finance Minister on the occasion reiterated that government attaches top priority to national security matters including the ongoing operation Zarb e Azb.
The Minister said that achievements made in the Operation Zarb e Azb are indeed significant and we are all grateful to Allah Almighty for the targets that have been accomplished so far in this operation.
The Minister on this occasion also added that rehabilitation of the TDPs is also a priority matter for the Government.
