Nadia Jamil to make TV comeback with Damsa

KARACHI – Pakistani famed television actress and social activist Nadia Jamil will be playing a prominent role in a socially relevant play Damsa that will deal with the subject of child trafficking. Damsa is being written by Asma Nabeel of Khaani fame and directed by Najaf Bilgirami. The play is being produced by Wajahat Rauf and his wife Shazia.

The shoot for the play recently came to an end; it is expected to go on-air in the coming months. “We are making one of the most legendary dramas Pakistan will ever see. So excited!” Jamil tweeted recently, as she requested the channel to allocate a good weekend slot to Damsa.
