MUMBAI – So, finally Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement ceremony is happening in Mumbai at Piggy Chop’s residence with a traditional puja with the Roka ceremony a private affair with only the family and some close friends present. The couple is making their engagement official in the presence of their respective families and close friends.

The inter-cultural couple got engaged in July after a whirlwind romance of two months. The Jealous singer had famously closed down a Tiffany store in London to buy the perfect engagement ring for his bride-to-be.

According to Indian media, the traditional engagement ceremony will be followed by an engagement party in the evening. After the ceremony, Nick will return to America along with his parents while Priyanka will continue filming her Bollywood project.
Priyanka’s guest list for the engagement party include the team of her upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink, producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim many other Bollywood celebs will attend the event.
Jonas came to India because,“It’s a tradition for them to meet before the wedding and Priyanka’s family insisted on hosting the Jonas family in their country. She [Priyanka] wants everything to be traditional to respect her family’s values, and definitely wants an Indian wedding.”
