KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Pakistan People’s Party on Wednesday suspended former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza’s membership with the party’s central executive committee (CEC), following his tirade against Asif Ali Zardari, the group’s co-chairman.
Sources said Mirza was suspended for his allegations against Zardari and other PPP members. A notification in this respect would be issued shortly, added the sources.
Mirza had claimed there were serious differences between party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his father Asif Ali Zardari.
Sindh Information Minister and senior PPP leader Sherjeel Inam Memon had refuted Mirza’s allegations as baseless.
