DELHI – With the cast including Reem Shaikh, Divya Dutta, Mukesh Rishi, Abhimanyu Singh and Ajaz Khan, the biopic of Malala Yousafzai’s extraordinary life is being shot in Kashmir currently. The shooting has begun since January 3, 2018.
The source said, “The film has been shot at locations such as Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Dal Lake. Today, the crew shot in central Kashmir’s Kangan village. It will take ten more days to complete the shoot.”
Reem Sheikh (an Indian actor) is playing Malala’s character in ‘Gul Malaki’. Reem has been lauded for her work in TV shows as “Yeh Rista Kya Kehlata Hai”, “Diya Aur Baati Hum” .
The film is helmed by Amjad Khan and produced by Anand Kumar under the banner of Renaissance Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
