PM Nawaz falls sick due to leg infection, postpones travel to Islamabad plan

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will not be able to travel from Lahore to Islamabad on Tuesday morning due to infection in incisions in his leg.

A statement issued by the PM’s Office said that due to infection, the Prime Minister was suffering from fever.

“The doctors are treating him and he will travel to Islamabad as soon as the fever subsides,” the PM’s Office said.

The spokesperson also said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was undergoing medical treatment.

Nawaz Sharif was supposed to reach Islamabad on Tuesday. PM Nawaz came back to the country almost a month later in July after he was convalescing from an open heart surgery in London.
