ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday chaired a high level meeting to review the security arrangements made for March 23 Parade.

Nisar was briefed about the foolproof security measures taken in Islamabad and Rawalpindi ahead of Pakistan day.

The minister, on the occasion, ordered the officials to ensure the peaceful conduct of Pakistan Day parade at any cost. No negligence would be tolerated in this regard, he said.

He also urged the citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies for law and order maintenance.

The federal government decided to hold the Pakistan Day parade of armed forces after a pause of 7 consecutive years.
