QUETTA (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that we will win war against terrorism at any cost. He said that the menace of terrorism in the country would be rooted out with iron hands.
The PM said this while addressing a passing-out parade of Balochistan’s Counter-Terrorism Force (CTF) in Quetta, Daily Pakistan Global reported on Thursday.
He said the war on terrorism which has been expanded to the entire country will continue till its logical conclusion. He said we have to win this war at all costs as it is the matter of the survival of our future generations and economic stability of the country.
The premier further said establishment of counter terrorism force in provinces is manifestation of our firm determination against the menace. This force is being equipped with latest arms and weapons to enhance their capacity.
Earlier Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif attend passing-out parade of Balochistan’s Counter-Terrorism Force (CTF).
Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and other high officials of provincial government, FC, police and Pakistan Army.
It was first ever contingent of the CTF passing out from Quetta’s counter terrorism training academy.
The batch, comprising 200 commandos including 18 lady constables, received 30-day training from Pakistan Army at the academy.
The passing out soldiers also carried out mock exercises displaying their capabilities against terrorists.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief Raheel Sharif distributed awards and certificated to the best trainees of the batch.
Yesterday, PM Nawaz Sharif arrived in Quetta on his two-day visit during which he reviewed implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) aimed at ridding the country of militancy and terrorism.
