Pir Sialvi hospitalised after brain hemorrhage

SARGODHA – Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi, who recently got a prominent place in politics after launching a movement against Punjab government, was shifted to a hospital in Lahore after suffering from brain hemorrhage.

Pir Sialvi collapsed when he was en route to Chiniot from Sial Sharif to attend a Khatm-i-Nabuwat conference. He was shifted to a private hospital, where the doctors earlier thought Pir Sialvi had suffered from heart attack.

However, it went out to be a brain hemorrhage after the CT scan spotted a clot in his brain.

According to Dawn News, the spiritual leader, who also remained PML-N’s senator,  also underwent a heart surgery some two years ago when he was reportedly under stress due to a clash between his son Qasim Sialvi and nephew Nizamuddin Sialvi.

He had launched a campaign against Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah over his controversial remarks regarding Ahmadiya community.

However, the tension eased after Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited him in Sial Sharif.
