Daily Pakistan inks MoU with Longer Development company to boost business ties between Pakistan, China

QINGDAO – Pakistan’s leading publication Daily Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding with Longer Development company to facilitate the Chinese investors doing business in Pakistan and to bridge the gap between business community in China and Pakistan.

The contract was signed by Daily Pakistan’s Executive Editor, Usman Mujib Shami under which the publication and Longer Development Co., Ltd. will carry out in-depth cooperation on resource information.

Daily Pakistan will use the advanced media platform to provide information for Longer Development Co., Ltd., while the firm will provide up to date and accurate information.

The agreement will ease the introduction of new Chinese products in Pakistan and vice versa.

Both the firms hope to jointly organize China-Pakistan exchange fairs and non-governmental exchanges and cooperation activities to cement the strategic cooperation in a bid to reap the benefits of “Belt and Road Initiative.”

Besides the MoU, a dedicated Daily Pakistan stall was also set up at the recently concluded SCO conference in Qingdao which was a commemorative exhibition to the Pakistani Daily; it is the first time that a Pakistani newspaper entered the Chinese mainland.

As many as 57 companies from 17 countries took part in the moot which lasted for three days.

Daily Pakistan is the only publication in Pakistan that provides news from diverse genres in three languages (English, Urdu, and Chinese); it ranks among the top news media in Pakistan and according to Alexa statistics, its digital version is one of Pakistan’s top ten websites with daily visits of 1 million.
