NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Pakistani women defeated India by two runs in a rain-hit match of the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on Saturday.
It was Pakistan’s first win of the mega event after being beaten by West Indies in the opening match.
Chasing Indian target of 97, Pakistani women made 77/6 before heavy rain stopped play.
The Women in Green were eventually declared the winner under the D/L formula.
Anam Amin was voted as player of the match for her tight bowling spell of 1/9 in 4 overs.
