KARNATAKA – Using a unique and expensive idea, former BJP leader and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy has stunned the masses in India with a boxed invitation of his daughter’s wedding, which comes with an LCD screen.
Soon the box is opened, the LCD screen in the lid auto-plays the video featuring Reddy, his wife, daughter Brahmani, his son and even the groom Rajeev Reddy who invite the distinguished guests for the wedding.
The ex-Karnataka cabinet minister his family can be seen lip-synching to a Kannada song that appears straight out of a film, which was specially composed for the wedding.
The song calls friends, relatives and other loved ones to come and share in the joyous occasion.
There is also a regular printed invite inside the box with details.
Reports in Indian media suggest famous Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Prabhudeva and Katrina Kaif may perform at the wedding scheduled for November 16.
