World Bank appreciates economic reforms in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The World Bank has lauded economic reforms in the country saying Pakistan has improved credit rating to a great extent.

This was stated by Country Director of the World Bank Rachid Benmessoud, who paid a farewell call on Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

He lauded Finance Minister’s keen interest in economic reforms of the country.

The two sides also discussed various sectors of development in Pakistan funded by the World Bank.

On this occasion, the Finance Minister appreciated the active role of outgoing World Bank’s Country Director in promoting financial assistance for development projects in Pakistan
