ISLAMABAD (Online) – Punjab Metro Bus Authority (PMBA) has imposed ban on taking photographs and pictures of all the stations of Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus routes following publication of reports in newspapers on defects particularly seepage of rain water in metro bus stations.
Sources said security personnel deployed on security of metro bus project have been directed that the commuters and cameramen are not allowed to take pictures of the metro bus stations.
No one including cameraman can take photographs of project through mobile phone. If any one is found involved in taking pictures illegally , he will have to face not only legal action but also fine will be imposed on him.
Several stations of metro bus service were filled with rain water during the recent rains and reports and pictures in this regard had found way to newspapers.
When contacted, Hanif Abbasi chairman Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Management Committee phone was found not responding.
