New York: Last night a star studded event took place we all have been waiting for since 2017, MTV Music video awards 2018 took place at Radio city Music Hall, New York where the pioneers of the music industry were seen dancing and singing the night off.
These awards are held annually to appreciate, honour and bring the music industry together. From artists like Bobby Millie Brown to the pioneers Jennifer Lopez everyone was in attendance. Jumping right to the basic point, FASHION! Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B had more than one looks. They pulled it off amazingly while some left us with questions.
1) Blac Chyna:
Chy walked on to the red carpet with a rather confusing ‘chained’ dress. She wore a pink chain dress by Laurel De Witt paired with silver accessories. While we do give points to her creativity but the whole chain situation is not working on her tattooed body also she could do a lot more with her Balmain looking dress.
2) Amber Rose:
Talking about Kanye West’s ex girlfriend Amber Rose attended the event with her signature blonde hair but this time everything was with a twist, it looked like she is trying out her Halloween looks. Dressed in red she wore a red strapped outfit which connected to her long boots creating a full look. On the top of everything she even carried a cat whip perfectly complimenting her mask, a big NO!
3) Rita Ora:
While the red carpet look calls for body exposed and experimental looks some mistaken it totally, Rita Ora showed up on the red carpet with a rather horrendous dress. Swirls embroided on her black sheer dress looked horrible. Which she paired with a black choker and a rather better makeup statement.
4) De J Loaf:
It looked like De J Loaf didn’t really care about her outfit at all on 2018 VMAS at it looked like she grabbed a few curtains and got them stickers together. She wore a monochromatic jumpsuit which she paired with white strapped heels. Even her silver hairdo couldn’t save her look for this year’s red carpet.
5) Ariana Grande:
We were seriously disappointed by the look of Ariana Grande this year. The cutie was seen setting the stage on fire with her ‘God is a woman’ performance beautifully but her red carpet look was a disaster. She wore a grey sock long boots with silver, red and black pixie dress. She ditched her signature high ponytail and instead enjoyed her hair open.
