KARACHI – On Tuesday Sindh Rangers seized a large collection of arms during an intelligence based operation in Go Aish Safari palPrk Karachi.
According to a spokesman for the paramilitary force, weapons were recovered from the storeroom of the park, located at University Road near NIPA.
The arms seized during the raid include rifles, SMGs, LMGs, hand grenades, snipers and large number of bullets.
Rangers have detained the guards of the park for interrogation.
Karachi operation is going on in the city with full pace and Rangers have sporadically recovered arms from different parts of the city indicating the extent to which militant groups were operating in the metropolis.
Earlier in January, Rangers conducted a raid in the Rahim Shah graveyard in Orangi Town area and confiscated huge cache of arms.
