Naval Chief warns of befitting response to any aggression

KARACHI – Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah has warned that Pakistan will give a befitting response to any aggression against it.

During the inspection of Pak-China naval exercises in Karachi on Sunday, Naval chief reaffirmed that Pakistan was  a peace-loving country subject to certain conditions.

“Pakistan is peace loving country and wants peace and stability in the region, however, any act of aggression will be answered befittingly”, he asserted.

The Naval Chief interacted with the Chinese Navy ship’s crew and appreciated their operational competence, and expressed satisfaction over the regular visits of Chinese Navy ships and conduct of bilateral naval exercises.

The Naval Chief said that Pak-China friendship was highly valued and the continued cooperation between them has proven to be a source of strength for both the countries.

He expressed that regular conduct of bilateral exercises will further boost the level of cooperation between the two navies that will contribute towards the regional peace and stability.

Thereafter, Admiral Zakaullah visited Pakistan Navy fleet units and showed satisfaction over their readiness in keeping vigil over area of responsibility.

He also lauded their preparedness and resolve to defend the maritime frontiers of the motherland.
