WASHINGTON (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday informed International Monitory Fund (IMF) Managing Director Ms. Christine Lagarde that Pakistan’s economy has been stabilizing due to prudent policies of current government, in a meeting in Washington.
According to a statement the prime minister informed her about economic reforms and development agenda of his government.
The IMF MD appreciated the Government of Pakistan’s economic reforms and policies.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting.
