LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri Tuesday said that Pakistan army should also pay heed to Model Town incident where families of 14 martyrs and more than 100 injured are still awaiting justice.
Talking to news men after he returned Pakistan, Dr Qadri announced to continue his struggle till the rulers who were responsible of Model Town tragedy according him are not hanged for their insane crimes. No compromise will be made on justice for martyrs, he said.
Responding to question he said the alliance of corrupt people was trying to make the Karachi operation a failure but patriotic forces stand by the armed forces Pakistan who cleansed the largest city of country.
When asked about his political ambitions, PAT chief said that any political alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cannot be ruled out however he added that corrupt and militant political parties will be greeted by Awami Tehreek.
Earlier this day when Dr Tahirul Qadri returned Pakistan after staying abroad for five months he was welcomed by a huge number of his party workers at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Strict security arrangements were made around airports on this occasion.
