NEW YORK (APP) – Pakistan has pledged its full support for improving the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan.
Permanent Deputy Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Nabeel Munir taking part on debate on Afghanistan situation in Security Council stressed that Afghan themselves must put their house in order.
He said robust and meaningful reconciliation is the only way to achieve that goal.
Nabeel Munir said Pakistan has targeted all terrorist groups and made substantial progress in cleansing their activities.
However, he said those objectives would not be fully accomplished till the sanctuaries and safe havens of the terrorists who fled to Afghanistan are eliminated.
