LAHORE (Web Desk) – Hina Rabbani Khar, Pakistan’s former foreign minister, said on Sunday that the conservative Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government has been trying to isolate Pakistan in the comity of nations.
“Pakistan and India need to resolve the various issues through negotiations,” Hina told a group of reporters at the literary festival in Lahore, while calling for a change in the mindset of Narendra Modi’s government for peace in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, former foreign minister Khursheed Kasuri said Pakistan army had always supported peace process, but the speeches of Narendra Modi during elections rallies disappointed Pakistan.
