727,201 Pakistani workers enter Middle East countries this year

ISLAMABAD (APP) - A total of 727,201 Pakistani workers have entered Middle-Eastern countries during the year 2015-16 so far (July-March) in search of employment.

An official of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development told APP that the demand received from the Middle East countries for this year was of 650,815.

He added that 814,703 Pakistani workers had entered the Middle East in 2014-15 against a demand of 547,006 workers.

Pakistani Rupee exchange rate to US Dollar, Euro, Pound, Dirham, and Riyal - 27 June 2024

Pakistani currency rates against US Dollar and other currencies on June 27, 2024 (Thursday) in open market.

USD to PKR Rate Today

US dollar was being quoted at 277.6 for buying and 280.7 for selling.

Euro’s buying rate stands at 294 and selling rate is 297.5 while British Pound rate is 349 for buying, and 352.55 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED’s buying rate was at 75.1 and selling rate at 75.85 whereas Saudi Riyal’s buying rate hovers at 73.1, and selling rate at 73.9.
