LAHORE- Recently, Hamza Ali Abbasi confirmed, in what can only be called an essay, that he’s tying the knot with fellow actor Naimal Khawar. The news itself had people gushing over the two but some started deconstructing his essay.
“We can’t breathe without each other now,” the actor wrote on Facebook Wednesday.
Abbasi added that he doesn’t believe in fairytales, but he believes in his Rabb, who blessed him with a relationship he never thought possible and now they are inseparable.

The actor said that he had previously failed to connect emotionally with the opposite gender, and was also unable to come to terms with the idea of marriage. However, he eventually asked his “platonic friend Naimal” to marry him to strengthen his belief, and she agreed.
Twitter has pointed out the contradiction and uncertainty within Abbasi’s statement regarding the pair’s relationship. His emphasis on the relationship being entirely “platonic” didn’t go down well with a lot of people.
