NEW HAVEN (Staff Report) – Pakistan’s Israr Ahmad Wednesday won the US Junior Open Squash Championship title defeating his opponent Rod Tucker by 11-9, 11-8, 7-11 and 11-8.
The junior squash championships started in New Haven from Saturday (tomorrow) Â where as many as nine Pakistani players participated.
According to the entry lists, Khushal Riaz Khan were playing in the under-13 category; Abbas Zeb was in under-15 while Asfandyar Khan Orakzai was in under-17 category.
In the under-19 category Kashif Asif, Ahsan Ayaz, Mujataba Changezi, Mohammad Haris Khwaja, Munir Zaman and Israr Ahmed were representing Pakistan.
