Ex-Punjab CM Dost Mohammad Khosa joins Pakistan People’s Party

KARACHI – Former chief minister of Punjab Dost Mohammad Khosa has formally joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Khosa met PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at the Bilawal House late Saturday night. PPP leaders Qamar Zaman Kaira, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Abdul Qayoom Soomro, Zulfiqar Shah, Ayoob Khosa were also present on the occasion.

Khosa, the son of former Punjab governor Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, was elected as Punjab chief minister back in 2008.

He was first elected as an MPA when his father vacated the provincial seat after taking oath as Punjab governor in August 1999.
